Have you mastered most of the Fundamental Movements? Then you are ready to take on the WOD! Intermediate Level athletes demonstrate proficiency of fundamental movements, solid general fitness and adequate strength. The intermediate athlete will scale some, but not all of the movements. Remember, everyone has strengths and weaknesses. We will build on both. Bo is committed to honing and mastering the intermediate student’s skills. Continued trainer support and critique is a must at this level since students will begin increasing their weight loads. Classes designated for intermediate and advanced athletes will move fast, with friendly competition encouraged. Watch your confidence soar!
Advanced athletes can complete most of the WOD’s as RX’d. (Meaning, you can complete the Workout of the Day without scaling/modifying the reps, weights and without assistance.) Advanced level athletes skillfully execute the movements, are strong enough to use the RX’d (prescribed) weight in the WOD’s, and have built enough endurance and mental strength to excel in the WOD’s. These athletes may still have skills to improve, and will continue to practice those skills until their goals are met. Coaches will encourage you to push your physical limits, while offering cues/reminders to ensure proper form and technique are used.
